Use inexpensive glass containers for these recipes,
Or try using the new Ziploc containers that come
in colors to prevent accidental breakage in the bathroom.
BASIC BATH SALTS
1 cup Epsom salts
6 drops glycerin
3 drops food coloring
3 drops essential oils
Mix ingredients with wire wisk or fingers until no lumps/color even.
Store in wide-brimmed container as salts may harden. Use: 1/4 - 1 cup
with running hot bath water.
MILK BATHS
1 cup powdered milk (SKIM ONLY!)
3/4 cup fine or coarse sea salt
15-20 drops essential oils
Combine milk & salt in large bowl. Mix well. Put 1/2 cup into small bowl and
sprinkle oils over; stir well. Add back to large bowl and stir well. Store
in glass jar with tight lid. Use: dissolve under running water-enough for
5/6 baths
FIZZING BATH CRYSTALS
1/3 cup baking soda
1/4 cup citric acid crystals
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Few drops essential oils (optional)
Mix and place in airtight container. Use: 1/4 cup per bath.
