(may be used as an astringent or dabbed onto pimples)
Use 1 pint of vodka as the base and add 1/2 ounce each of the following
finely ground herbs: echinacea, myrrh, Oregon grape root, black walnut
hull. Pour together in a Mason jar, cap tightly and shake once a day for
2 weeks. Strain the juice into a dark bottle and cap tightly. This will
keep for a few years without refrigeration.

I have to confess that this particular post made me giggle!
a)the name gave me the giggles...
b) and then with a vodka base I kept imagining drinking it...
